Allison's experience in the public and private sector gives her a unique perspective when collaborating with others, making her a valuable team member for any transportation engineering project. She has built a strong MnDOT project resume in traffic engineering and the fundamentals of roadway design. Her experience ranges from traffic operations to signing, pavement marking, and traffic control. She has developed detour routes, multi-stage traffic control plans, pavement marking plans, Division ST Special Provisions, existing and permanent signing plans, and tabulations. Allison is proficient in MnDOT design and CADD standards, including SignCAD, and has designed I-Beam and overhead cantilever structural signs.
Since joining Isthmus in 2018, Allison has added the role of mother to her resume. She takes pride in being a model for female professional engineers to continue to grow and advance in their careers AND be an active mom engaging in her family’s activities.
