Isthmus honored with When Work Works Award
On October 26th, Isthmus Engineering was among nine Minnesota firms honored with the prestigious When Work Works Award. The award recognizes companies across the country who offer impactful employee initiatives; award ceremonies are held regionally. The 2017 Minnesota awards were presented by local news personality, Kim Insley, at the LifeBalance Solutions’ annual Work/Life Expo held at St. Mary’s University Center in Minneapolis. The exposition featured an exhibitor fair, keynote speakers, a full day of breakout sessions, and the awards ceremony luncheon. Isthmus president, Katie Toghramadjian, PE, and Isthmus Human Resources Coordinator, Elizabeth Lewen, JD, accepted the award. Katie notes, "It was inspiring to spend the day with others who share our commitment to creating workplaces centered on honoring the individual."
