Edgar brings his passion for accessible and equitable communities to serve as a Transportation Planner at Isthmus. He leverages field visits, data analysis, and research to inform and advance early-stage transportation projects. Edgar thrives in understanding stakeholder needs and connecting these to project recommendations. He also has a growing appreciation for how policies like Complete Streets and Vision Zero influence project outcomes. With proficiency in ArcGIS and experience with StreetPlan and Equitable Transportation Community (ETC) Explorer, Edgar has supported the development of technical memos, grant applications, and scoping reports.

As a person who stutters, Edgar is passionate about bringing awareness to stuttering and is involved in a variety of stuttering groups in the Twin Cities and at the national level. His passion for transportation planning began from a desire to see more diverse representation and perspectives in the field. Outside of work, Edgar enjoys going on walks around the Twin Cities, traveling, and watching professional wrestling.
