George’s expertise in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects benefits both clients and communities throughout Minnesota. His experience encompasses all project phases from concept development to preliminary and final design, through construction, and into operations. His deep knowledge in the design of traffic elements translates to more efficient traffic operations, significantly reduced delays for drivers, and safer driving environments for all modes of transportation. George has directed numerous ICE studies, traffic signal designs and timing studies, and signing and pavement marking design projects. He has been involved in TMP development since the outset of MnDOT’s current methodology and has served as the MOT Engineer on numerous high-profile trunk highway projects. As a mentor, George is sharing his knowledge to further develop and expand the traffic engineering capabilities of the Isthmus Team.

George's interests range from soccer (he coaches a high school team and still plays) to philosophy (he is writing a book on epistemology and metaphysics). He has three grown children who all live in the Twin Cities and he enjoys traveling with his family.
