Mike brings energy and enthusiasm for civil engineering to those he works with, serving as both a leader and mentor to others on his project teams. His background in multi-agency coordination, strong organizational skills, and disciplined follow-through lend themselves to leading utility coordination and other specialty aspects of complex roadway design projects. Mike brings a proactive and collaborative approach to working with utility owners and constituents — one that anticipates potential issues and brings them to timely resolution. His cross-disciplinary perspective and project management capabilities offer value to all phases of project delivery, including early project scoping and planning level activities, schedule management, detailed design and safety analysis, cost estimates, construction staging, and As-Built plans documentation.
Living in Lake City, Minnesota, Mike enjoys the flexibility that Isthmus provides him to work from home. He is able to work with clients and partners on challenging projects while keeping the Isthmus team updated on the birding and boating conditions on the Mississippi River.
