Pamela is passionate about the intersection between active transportation, sustainability, and public health. Through her ongoing work with the MnDOT Active Transportation Scoping Program, she has become a leader in pedestrian and bicycle facility development. In each community and on every project, Pamela's goal is to deliver practical and actionable recommendations. Her expertise is grounded in years of experience in transportation planning and roadway design. She has technical training in concepts that inform her approach, including Complete Streets, Context-Sensitive Solutions, Performance-Based Practical Design, and Safe Systems, all working toward the Towards Zero Death campaign. Pamela’s resume includes designing U.S. bike routes, creating policies, plans, and guides, and serving on multimodal councils.
