This $128 million interchange at Interstate 494 and Highway 169 in the southwest Twin Cities Metro area was infamous for its level of congestion during rush hour. Congestion, safety, and accessibility were improved with the project's innovative design.

As an on-site member of the design-build team, Isthmus developed all of the cross sections for the complex interchange and subsequently prepared the machine control models for roadways and graded areas. This facilitated the transition from design to construction, contributing to reduced construction costs on the project.
